Here’s my Morbier salad, Cesare style, a reminder of the famous Cesar salad, with a twist!

Morbier Salad, Caesar Style

Ingredients

  • Salad
  • 1 head little gem lettuce
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 10 g butter
  • 100 g Morbier cheese
  • 4 slice of baguette
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salsa
  • 1 tsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp liquid cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

Salad

Stir fry the chicken with the butter. Set aside.

Peel and cut the little gem lettuce, cucumber and white onion.

Place in your serve plate.

Place your baguette slices in your frying pan, covered with a slice of Morbier cheese and a bit of honey.

Cook for 5 minutes.

Add the chicken cut in slices and the toasts to the salad.

Add the remaining Morbier cheese cut in pieces.

Salsa

Place all the ingredients in a bowl.

Combine and pour on the salad.
