Chocolate Banana Bread
- 55 g butter at room temperature
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp cream
- Du beurre pour le moule

- 140 g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp flower salt
- 60 g chocolate
- 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- Butter for the mold
- Brown sugar for the mold
Preheat your oven at 170 C / 340 F degrees.
Whisk the butter with a spatula to make it soft. Add the sugar.
Whisk for 2 minutes until you get a smooth and homogeneous texture.
Add the egg, mix well.
Crush roughly one banana and a half with a fork and add them to the batter. Set the remaining half banana aside.
Add the melted chocolate. Combine.
Add the cream, half of the flour, the baking soda, cocoa and flower salt. Combine with a spatula until you get a smooth and homogeneous texture.
Add the second half of flour, Combine.
Generously butter your mold, spread brown sugar.
Pour the batter in the mold, place the half banana on top and spread brown sugar on top and cook for 35 minutes.
At the end, check cooking of your banana bread with a knife. Cook more if necessary.
Unmold after 5 to 10 minutes.
Let cool down on a grid.
