Week-end, barbecue with friends, a table with plenty of food, brought by everyone and it’s hapiness!
It’s hapiness because it’s cool, it’s hapiness because friends is one of the best things in life, it’s hapiness because it’s delicious and also because it’s a good occasion to discover new dishes: like my friend Claire’s chickpea salad…
So, on my table we had: beef ribs perfectly cooked, sausages from Sologne (if you have the opportunity, try them!! You don’t want to miss that!), merguez, marinated pork belly… And then a tabouleh, a watermelon and feta cheese salad with melon, an Alsatian potato salad and my friend Claire’s chickpea salad!! Now you even have more barbecue ideas!!
You get it, it was super delicious, freshness at each bite (thanks to the coriander!! I loooove it!!), the perfect salad for a barbecue!

My friend Claire's Chickpea salad
- 200 g cooked chickpeas
- 1 red pepper
- 1/2 red onion
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon harissa
Place the chickpeas in a large bowl.
Add the red pepper clean and cut in small pieces.
Chop the onion and coriander.
Make the dressing: mix the olive oil, wine vinegar, harissa, salt and pepper.
Pour on the salad.
Serve or set aside in the fridge.
